Brandywine tomato plants are the most well known heirloom variety for good reason. They have huge fruit with incredibly sweet flavor. The variety originates from the Amish in the late 1800's. It is always a staple in our garden because it is so reliable. Starts out pinkish and turns slowly red and then slightly purplish as it ripens. This is the "Sudduth's" strain of the classic Brandywine. Definitely one of the best heirloom tomatoes ever. Ripens in 80-90 days
