As much as we love to visit with customers, it has become necessary to limit our greenhouse store hours to only certain weekends during the season so that we can do our primary job of shipping plants to our customers all over the United States.
Our 2010 schedule will be as follows:
Saturday March 20th, from 9:00 am-5:00 pm (central time)Special Tasteful Garden/Moore Farms "Farm Day", Saturday March 27th. Special gardening talks on the hour from 10am-2pm (central time)Friday & Saturday April 9th & 10th from 9:00 am-5:00 pm (central time)Friday & Saturday April 16th & 17th from 9:00 am-5:00 pm (central time)
Saturday May 3rd, from 9:00 am-5:00 pm (central time)
Plants can always be pre-ordered on our website for will call on any Friday or Saturday throughout the season. Choose Will Call at Tasteful Garden as your delivery method and enter a Friday or Saturday date at checkout.

We are located at 973 County Road 8, Chulafinnee (near Heflin), Alabama. We are directly in between Birmingham and Atlanta only 7.3 miles off of Interstate 20.
From Birmingham: Take Exit #191 off of Interstate 20, go right off the ramp onto Hwy 431 going South and drive 7.3 miles, then turn left on County Road 8 and drive 1/2 mile and you will see our store on the right.
From Atlanta: Take
Exit 199 off of Interstate 20, turn left off the ramp heading South on Hwy 9. Travel 6.3 miles and turn right on County Road 8. Go 1/2 mile,
across the bridge and to the top of the hill, we are on the left side.

Pepper Place will be open on April 17th!
This year Pepper Place Saturday Market is opening early and the first Saturday coincides with the best planting time for Birmingham! Come and see us at Pepper Place to pick up your plants and save a trip to our farm, unless you really want to come out to the farm! Orders placed ahead and scheduled for pick up on April 17th will be given priority for availability and should be specified if you want to pick up at Pepper Place. If you do not "pre-order" we cannot guarantee that all of our varieties will be available on that day, so please pre-order if you can.

We attend this Farmer's Market Saturdays from April 17th - July. Pepper Place is located at 2nd Avenue South, between 28th and 29th streets in the Lakeview District of Birmingham. The Farmer's Market is every Saturday morning from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon through November. |
