Greenhouse workers

These positions will spend time Mondays and Tues. wrapping and packing plants, Weds. and Thurs.in the greenhouses transplanting plants, and pulling orders on Fridays. Attention to detail is most important as well as a great attitude and good work ethic. We have fun even though we work hard and lunch is provided daily. Time is spent outdoors or in warm greenhouses during the day so you must be able to work under warm conditions into the later part of the season. Most of the time you will be on your feet and there is some lifting of trays etc. Prior greenhouse work is helpful but not required.

These positions will be mostly full time, 4-5 days per week during our season of Feb. 4^th-June 8^th. Working hours are generally 9-4pm with packing days sometimes extending to 5:30-6pm.

Packing and Shipping (several positions available)

These positions are part time, 1-2 days per week, Monday and Tuesdays only. Wrapping plants or packing boxes are the primary operations and hours run from 8-9 am through 4-5 pm depending on our workload for that week. Lunch is provided and positions are paid at $7.50 per hour. Reliability and an eagerness to work are all you need for these positions.

Shipping operator

This position will be for a computer operator which will generate computerized shipping labels and packing slips for boxes shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays from March 1^st-June 15^th. This person must be fast and proficient with computers, especially the internet, as well as being very detail oriented and able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs. Office or Greenhouse work may be available to make this position full time 5 days a week.

General Greenhouse/Packing Helper

This job is a general labor position and calls for a hard worker that can lift 50 lbs, help unload trucks, run equipment such as soil mixers, rotary tiller and weed eater. This person also will help with transplanting, moving plants and keeping things organized and clean in the greenhouses as well as helping with wrapping plants and packing. Some driving may be included with this position so a good driving record is helpful.
