Our Tomato Rating System

The stars next to the names of our tomato varieties indicate the following:

***Very easy to grow and great for containers or growing in not the best soil conditions. Reliably productive as well as flavorful. Best for beginners.

**Slightly more finicky about soil conditions, ok in containers but prefer rich garden soil and mulch. Worth growing if you have an extra space or two

*Not large producers but the fruits are spectacular enough to recommend growing a few in an average sized garden, grow several if you have the room. Not the best container tomatoes due to low production. These are generally larger sized plants.
