Socrates are dark red huge bell peppers that make your garden more colorful and tasty! These are 4 1/2" long and just as wide, with sweet flavored, blocky, thick walls. Fruit starts out green on vigorous plants, and when fully ripe they turn a deep red-color. 68 days for green ripening about 80 days for red. This hybrid pepper performs well in short season areas. Resistant to Bacterial Spot and Potato Y Virus.

Our pepper plants are grown in extra large 4.5" pots and are generally about 4-8" tall depending upon the variety. Each plant is wrapped individually to hold in the soil and moisture. We ship in large pots to keep the stress of transport to a minimum. Our interior cartons are made to fit our plants. Order any quantity you want, we don't require you to order by the dozen!
