Very prolific and very sweet especially after light frosts. This spinach has amazing vigor, with plants triple the size of other spinach. Plant this variety and you will be harvesting baby spinach in two weeks. Huge yields, superb flavor, color and texture add up to a great home garden variety. Our spinach are seeded with 2-3 plants in each pot which can be planted as a clump in the ground or in large pots.

Spinach must be planted early and grown when temperatures are cool. It needs consistent moisture and will go to see (bolt) if too dry, or when days lengthen and temperatures warm. Later plantings benefit from some light shade from other crops to help keep roots cool.
Mulch after plants are well established to maintain moisture and prevent weeds. Spinach will grow to around 16-18" wide and can be harvested very soon after planting with continued cuttings for up to 2 months as long as heat does not cause it to flower.
