"Pick them early"

Diane on 1/3/2009

Comments: Yellow pear worked well in containers but learned that they taste better just as they turn yellow otherwise they can be a bit tough and crack. Lasted from July to early September in Atlanta

My Rating Is:

"Great tomato!"

A. Starnes on 9/11/2008

Comments: This little tomato is a great producer and a wonderful tasting fruit. I will definitely plant this one again.

My Rating Is:

"Bountiful and Beautiful"

Marietta on 9/8/2008

Comments: Yellow Pear was by far the most robust of my 6 different tomatoes this year. I collected basketfulls from my one plant almost all summer. Very pretty in salads, bruschetta, and roasted tomato sauces; more flavorful than other small yellows I have sampled.

My Rating Is:

"Sickly Yellow Pear Tomato"

on 9/6/2008

Comments: I have grown these Yellow Pear Tomatoes several times, in two different yards, and each time the plant developed disease early in the season. What fruit I was able to get had good taste.

My Rating Is:

"Precious pears"

Laurie on 9/5/2008

Comments: We really enjoyed these. They were not the most flavorful tomatoes we grew this year but we really enjoyed the different shape and color.
