I know the name is crazy but don't let that turn you off of this fantastic new tomato. The flesh is golden turning to a tangerine color and the "purple smudge" is around the top of the fruit. As we know, colors mean different things nutritionally and this one has the best of both worlds, the beta carotene of the orange and the anthocyanins which may offer protection from some forms of cancer.
