‘Planting Vegetable Plants at the right time for your area is crucial. Make sure you check for the last frost date and watch the weather carefully before planting."
Brandywine tomato plants are the most well known heirloom variety for good reason. They have huge fruit with incredibly sweet flavor. The variety originates from the Amish in the late 1800s. It is always a staple in our garden because it is so reliable. Starts out pinkish and turns slowly rosy dark red as it ripens. This is the Sudduth's strain of the classic Brandywine. Definitely one of the best heirloom tomatoes ever. Ripens in 80-90 days.
