Canning & Paste Tomato Plants

Tomato Plants are sold out for the season.

We have shortened our shipping season this year in an effort to prevent problems we were having shipping in years past. We always try to provide you with the best plants that we are able to grow, however, by mid May this becomes increasingly difficult because of the heat here in Alabama. We know that many of our friends in the Northern states like to plant in late May, or even early June, but the increasing heat does not allow us to provide the quality product that we know our customers have come to expect from us.

These tomatoes for cooking are perfect for pasta sauce, salsa, marinara, pizza sauce, and soups! These are the meaty, low seed tomatoes, best for cooking because their flavor is intensified when the moisture is cooked away. Most can be eaten as fresh sliced tomatoes but they really shine as the workhorses of the garden producing loads of fruit to save for the winter! These tomatoes for canning are certified organically grown as single plants in 4.5" pots.
